About

Ealing Talking Newspapers (Registered Charity no. 1029211) make a weekly audio recording of the local news for blind and partially sighted people.  Articles are read from the Ealing Gazette and other local sources as well as material of general interest for visually impaired people.

The recording is copied onto standard USB memory sticks and mailed to listeners every Friday afternoon, giving visually impaired people the opportunity to hear the local news just one day after the paper appears in the shops.  We are able to make dedicated USB players available to people who do not have their own equipment and the recordings are also uploaded to the internet so that those who wish can listen on their computer, tablet or smart phone and it is also available via the British Wireless for the Blind Fund’s Sonata Internet Player.
